Outcome for dogs in the DRBC system is defined in several ways. The definitions shown below will help to explain how the data was collected and reported for incoming dachshunds and dachshund mixes for the period stated.
Definitions for Outcome
Adoption - Dogs placed on a permanent basis.
Returned to Owner - Dogs returned to the owner following medical care, behavior training and owner counseling.
Other Live Outcome - Dogs transferred to another rescue or shelter or dogs given sanctuary in the DRBC GrandPaws Program due to age or disability.
Died In Care - Dogs that have passed away while in the care of the rescue.
